Educational Assistant Fairview Elementary School 15 hours weekly - 9 am to 12 pm, Monday to FridayCommencing January 29, 2025 until June 30, 2025.The successful applicant will provide support to students in Kindergarten to Grade 5. Desirable qualifications and attributes: Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education is an asset.Applicants must be comfortable facilitating a teacher plan for a small group literacy intervention and assisting elementary classrooms with language arts learning and supportEducation or experience with trauma informed practices.Experience or education in working with a very diverse demographic and children with complex needs is preferred.Experience in academic intervention.Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.Good problem solving skills.For more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: www.rdpsd.ab.caThis competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
