DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset
• Comfortable with both specialized and inclusive programs
• Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
• Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as requiredNon-violent Crisis Intervention certificate or SIVA training would be an asset
