Chickering School in Dover, MA, is seeking a Kindergarten Educational Assistant to work with classroom teachers and students to support academic and social-emotional learning activities, supervise lunchroom and recess, and assist teachers with materials preparation. Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from general education staff.Primary responsibilities: -To nurture and support students.-Support and facilitate classroom activities and instruction-Implement designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans-Communicate with educators regarding student progress-Assist classroom teachers in creating materials for student use.-Supervision of studentsJob requirements: -Associate or Bachelor’s degree-Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction-Ability to work well with others-Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills-Work the school year calendar, plus 3 extra days unities for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
