MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with students in group or individual situations.
  • Ability to follow directions and carry out assigned tasks.
  • Prior experience in working with school-age children preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with and proficient at using technology (Word, Excel, Google Apps, Email)
  • Pass district skills test by a score of 80% or higher.

  • occasional lifting of approximately 40 – 70 pounds
  • Intermittent bending, twisting, squatting kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, reaching.
  • Standing, walking, or running short distances throughout the day.
  • May be required to restrain a student using moderate strength (20-50 pounds push or pull) and MANDT techniques, always working to deescalate a situation.
