This position is currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. September 4th, 2025 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement.
We are currently looking for a responsible, supportive Educational Assistant to work in Consort School. You must exhibit a strong interest in working with children, be friendly in nature and be sensitive towards children’s needs.
This is a part time (0.5 FTE) temporary position to commence immediately. This is a leave replacement position and will terminate upon the return of the permanent employee. You will be required to work 15 hours per week providing additional support within the classroom. You also must be able to exhibit the associated skills to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner. You will be expected to present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, both in person, on the telephone and through correspondence. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset.
