JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to support teachers in providing a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with children, including those with diverse needs, to facilitate their educational development and enhance their learning experience. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with students in various subjects and settings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Educational Assistant Certification or equivalent programming
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and educational staff.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities in the classroom.
  • Support students with diverse needs by providing individualized support and assistance.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a culture of community and belonging.
  • Facilitate communication between students and teachers to ensure understanding of assignments and concepts.
  • Educate students on various subjects, focusing on Numeracy, Literacy and other core areas.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
