Also, the ideal candidates are located in the Greater Toronto Area or Iqaluit, Nunavut.

  • Write and revise training materials, training workshops, and supplemental resources.
  • Facilitate teacher training workshops in online and face-to-face environments.
  • Write and revise educational materials, such as teacher guides and lesson plans.
  • Incorporate feedback on draft materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working as an elementary school teacher or a similar role.
  • Experience in one or more of the identified areas.
  • Experience with second-language instruction is an asset.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Google Drive.
  • Strong writing skills, particularly the ability to write in plain language.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional speaking abilities.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in education.
  • Experience working in a Northern or Indigenous context is a strong asset.
