Hello Copy Editors!
We are looking to hire Educational Copy Editors and Editors to review, revise, edit and copy edit educational content like lesson plans, curriculum maps, performance assessments, standard alignments, scripts, and more!
Editors must be experts at line editing and copy editing. Experience in the educational field is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with curriculum consultants, team leads, and designers to create high-quality content
• Engage in routine training and weekly check-ins virtually and asynchronously to monitor the progress of work
• Copy editors must be experts at writing to and navigating educational state standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Degree preferred
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a copy editor, preferably within the education industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Based in the United States with the ability to meet with teams virtually during US business hours.

Job Details:
Pay is $30/hr. Work is on a freelance basis. We’re looking for someone who can dedicate a minimum of 20 hours a week. We offer a ton of flexibility, and ALL the work is from home!
