QUALIFICATIONS: FORMAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- A Master’s degree in Education or related field- required.
- 3+ years program/curriculum development experience.
- 3+ years’ teaching experience at a post-secondary level.
QUALIFICATIONS: SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated pedagogical knowledge as well as curriculum development and delivery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide feedback on teaching and course design within post-secondary environments.
- Exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal) evidenced by the preparation of teaching resources, slides and handouts.
- Demonstrated knowledge pedagogical practices best suited for post-secondary education.
- Demonstrated experience developing educational courses and programs.
- Demonstrated experience working with current learning technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills required in working with students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to receive feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team is essential and should be demonstrated.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete work accurately under tight timelines.
- Ability to make sound independent judgments and utilize problem-solving abilities with a high degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrated knowledge of University regulations and policies is an asset.
