MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS, PSYCHOLOGY OR A RELATED FIELD, ACTIVE EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN LICENSE, AND 1+ YEARS EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A K-12 Educational Diagnostician position is available for a full academic year contract in Arlington, TX. This role involves providing comprehensive assessment services to identify students learning needs and guide educational planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting student achievement by delivering accurate evaluations and collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify learning disabilities and related educational needs
  • Interpret assessment data to develop eligibility reports and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student learning goals
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations based on assessment findings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and eligibility criteria
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team
