DEGREE IN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETING, CERTIFIED ASL INTERPRETER CREDENTIALS, AND 1+ YEAR OF EXPERIENCE AS AN ASL INTERPRETER IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A contract position is available for a Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Sahuarita, AZ. This opportunity is ideal for professionals skilled in American Sign Language (ASL) who are committed to facilitating effective communication and inclusion for deaf and hard-of-hearing students throughout the academic calendar school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff to support learning and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with educators and support personnel to adapt instructional materials as needed.
