    Reporting to the Manager, Educational Technologies, you’ll be joining the recently established ‘Educational Technologies and Innovation’ team - a dedicated service-oriented group of specialists working together to support high-quality, inclusive digital learning experiences across all delivery modes. As an Educational Technologist, you will support the design and delivery of high-quality digital learning experiences using cutting-edge educational technologies. Acting as a subject-matter expert across our Learning Management System and other educational platforms, you will collaborate with academic staff, IT teams, and stakeholders to co-ordinate enhancements aligned with strategic objectives.
    Additionally, you will assist lead initiatives incorporating digital tools and emerging AI applications, championing service-oriented solutions that uplift the learning experience for students and staff.

About you

  • Proven experience in supporting digital learning in higher education, with deep knowledge of LMS platforms (preferably Brightspace), educational technologies, and awareness of ethical considerations in the use of AI in education.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong record of designing and delivering impactful digital teaching solutions
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to support and train academic staff in the effective use of educational technologies.
