Full job description

Montessori Campus Tegel

Full-time or part-time

Permanent position

What you can expect

Help us to give children space for self-construction.

The Montessori Campus at Tegeler Forst is a lively educational place where children and young people are accompanied from toddler age to graduation. Our work is based on a deeply lived Montessori attitude: trust in the child's inner blueprint, respect for his or her dignity and the conviction that learning arises from one's own activity.

For our cross-grade learning groups at the primary school in Berlin-Tegel, we are looking for a committed pedagogical specialist who does not want to shape children, but to accompany them in their development.

Full-time or part-time · from 15.08.2026

Your tasks

As an (integration) educator, you are part of a permanent pedagogical team and accompany a mixed-age learning group through everyday school life. You work on an equal footing with a teacher, actively shape the prepared environment and support the children until the afternoon band (after-school care).

You are a co-responsible learning companion - with room for your own observations, impulses and design to accompany children in the sense of Montessori pedagogy

  • Co-creation and maintenance of a prepared environment
  • Observation, reflection and sensitive support of individual development paths
  • Preparation of learning development reports
  • Close cooperation in the pedagogical team
  • Participation in the further development of our primary school
  • Work in a clearly structured, appreciative organizational culture

We wish for

  • State recognition as an educator or integration educator
  • Pedagogical experience, ideally in a Montessori context
  • An inner attitude that sees the child as an active shaper of its development
  • Willingness to work independently
  • Enjoyment of teamwork, reflection and relationship building
  • To take children seriously
  • Understanding relationships as the basis of education
  • To take responsibility – for oneself and for others.

  • We look forward to meeting people who not only know Montessori, but want to live it.
