    Your Opportunity
    At Miller Preschool, we provide an inclusive educational preschool program in a caring and supportive environment for children 3 years to school age. The program works with up to 40 children per day, with a minimum of 10 places available for children with disability, developmental delay, or special needs. In addition to our mainstream preschool, we also offer an Autism Specific Preschool Program.
    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to join our vibrant team in delivering quality educational programs. Your key responsibilities:

  • Support children aged 3-5 in an inclusive, positive and supportive learning environment
  • Identify and respond to any child safety risks and/or report any incidents
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that a safe environment is maintained
  • Ensure that children’s health conditions are monitored (with parental instructions)
  • Assist in preparing, developing and implementing appropriate play-based learning programs
  • Document Children’s learning for a focus group of Children
  • Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of the centre

Requirements for Success

  • A cert III or diploma in early childhood
  • Previous experience as an early learning Educator (desirable) and a passion for working in early learning
  • Drive to ensure that children are kept safe and supervised at all times
  • A positive team player who looks for ways to improve current work practices and processes
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
