Schedule: Full-time | Weekdays 8 hr. 7-3 with on call from 3pm to 7am and 24 hr. call on weekends and holidays. How you’ll contribute An EEG Technician who excels in this role: Follows proper policy and procedure for initiation of testing, patient history, electrode placement, test completion, reporting, and equipment disinfection. Recognize and respond appropriately to patient’s medical problems and physiological events especially seizures. Maintains effective and efficient use of chemicals, reagents, and other materials. Follows safety procedures and guidelines; reports unsafe practices or conditions. Maintains inventory of supplies. What we’re looking for Applicants should have post-secondary training or college education in a science or health related field. (LPN, CST, MOA, Paramedic, EMT, etc.) Additional requirements include: Previous experience in Electroencephalography or an allied health care/ life sciences field. Basic Life Support.
