Our Electro Neurophysiology Lab supports both community clients and inpatients across the South Zone. We are currently seeking a dedicated Electroneurophysiology Technologist II to join our team. In this role, you will perform EEG procedures on outpatients of all ages (approximately 25% Pediatric patients, and 75% Adults patients) as well as EEG recordings on inpatients, including critically ill patients in the ICU. You’ll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electroneurophysiology equipment, as well as ensuring accurate patient records. Orientation will be tailored to your learning needs, with ongoing skill development and shift planning to support appointment continuity. Description:
As an Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist, you will determine which ENP tests to perform based on clinical history, findings, and protocols. You will provide feedback to surgeons for early detection of intraoperative injury, allowing for immediate corrective measures and will resolve unusual or complex cases referred by the EEG Technologist I’s or refers them to the appropriate individual(s) You will implement, maintain and assess approved quality control procedures. You will participate in the recruitment and selection of staff and coordinate the orientation of new employees. You will also provide technical and problem solving advice to other EEG Technologists.
