Provide technical support for routine and specialized neurodiagnostic testing and assists with the instruction and training of students and junior staff as directed. As competencies are achieved, perform advanced neurodiagnostic procedures, including but not limited to Neonatal EEG, Evoked Potentials (EP), Long-Term Monitoring (LTM), and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) studies, in accordance with departmental policies and scope of practice. Schedule FTE: .75 (30 hours/week) Hours: 7:00am-5:30am Days: Monday-Wednesday Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Required Qualification: Associate's degree required. Minimum of one (1) year of clinical healthcare experience required. Must complete the ASET LTM100 course within (30) days of hire. Must obtain ABRET registry (R EEG. T) within (2) years of hire. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be highly self-motivated. Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Preferred Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a CAAHEP-Accredited Associate s degree or certificate program in Neurodiagnostic Technology. Currently enrolled in a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program. Prior experience in a Neurodiagnostic, EEG, or Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) setting. Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose I acknowledge the requirement to successfully complete the ASET LTM100 course within 30 days of hire. I acknowledge the requirement to obtain ABRET Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) credentials within two years of hire.
