This role involves real-time remote monitoring of EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies (up to 4 concurrent studies), as well as occasional on-site responsibilities such as patient unhooking at the conclusion of EEG studies. Key Responsibilities Remotely monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real-time. Perform routine EEG procedures across various modalities. Unhook patients at the conclusion of EEG studies as needed. Accurately recognize and differentiate normal and abnormal EEG patterns across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations. Document patient seizure semiology with precision. Maintain professional communication with patients and medical staff. Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment and other major systems (Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, Xltek, etc.). Work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting. Qualifications · High School diploma (GED) or higher · A minimum of 1-year experience in the field · Must be ABRET board-certified R.EEGT (CLTM preferred) · Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as it relates to EEG · Must have a secure HIPAA compliant workspace that is free from unauthorized viewing · Must have a reliable internet connection and backup · Must be able to work 12-hour shifts · Must be able to operate, store, and maintain EEG equipment as necessary · Must maintain an appropriate supply inventory sufficient to conduct multiple EEG setups if necessary · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office · Must have a valid driver’s license Physical Requirements: · Must be able to move and lift up to 50lbs · Must be able to stand, kneel, and stoop as needed · Must be able to sit for long periods of time · Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute for the purposes of data entry REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 1. Receives general direction from Director, EEG Operations. LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, OR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION: 1. Certification by ABRET REEGT or CLTM required. 2. Must hold a valid driver’s license. 3. Minimum of high school diploma or GED. 4. Must maintain current AHA CPR certification #IND456
Responsibilities
