EFDA Instructor - PT   About The Job  AllState Career School in Essington, PA is seeking an experienced, highly motivated EFDA Instructor to join its faculty.  If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.    AllState Career School provides educational programs that deliver real-life career skills in high-demand occupations that lead to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.    Job Description  We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our EFDA Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach EFDA courses.  The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.      Requirements  * Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required * Certifications: * EFDA and * CDA and/or RDA and * DANB RHS and * Xray Certified * At least three years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven  * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred     
Responsibilities
The instructor is responsible for teaching EFDA courses and providing academic advising to students. They are also expected to participate in department training, meetings, and graduation ceremonies.
