An interesting opportunity for an experienced EFL Teacher to join us in for a short-term contract during the summer.
This is working mornings, Monday to Friday for 3 hours per day (15 hours per week).
Working as an EFL tutor on our Academic Explorer programme, you will utilise your EFL experience to develop our students in areas such as presenting, rhetoric and developing their skills in critical thinking and debate.
Our students are between the ages of 14-17 and usually at upper intermediate level or higher.
Based in our Bloomsbury school in central London, we are only a 3-minute walk from Holborn station.

THE ESSENTIALS THAT YOU’LL NEED, TO JOIN US?

  • Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL or equivalent - is essential
  • Experience of teaching EFL in a similar capacity is highly desirable
  • Experience of working with young learners
  • Educated to degree level (preferred)
  • Genuine interest in both the teaching and welfare of young students
  • Enthusiastic approach
  • Already have the right to work in the UK
  • Be available for the duration of the contract

  • Other TEFL qualifications may be acceptable if they have been validated by an external body, include a minimum of 6 hours of supervised teaching practice with genuine learners and 100 hours of input. Please note that one-day, weekend, online and distance learning courses are not considered equivalent.
