What you will experience in this position: As an EHS Coordinator at nVent, you’ll play a hands‑on role in helping create a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace where people can do their best work every day. You’ll partner closely with site leaders and employees to promote a strong safety culture, support continuous improvement, and ensure our operations meet environmental, health, and safety requirements. In this role, you will: Maintain detailed safety, health, and environmental records, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits or reviews. Ensure daily compliance and hazard control — Actively monitor plant-floor operations to verify adherence to safety procedures, identify hazards in real time, and drive immediate corrective actions. Lead incident prevention and response — Conduct thorough incident investigations, analyze trends, and implement preventive measures while coaching teams on safe behaviors and emergency readiness. Champion continuous improvement and engagement — Partner with supervisors and operators to strengthen safety culture, deliver targeted training, and support ongoing improvements to processes, equipment, and environmental practices. Generate reports on safety metrics, compliance updates, and administrative activities. Coordinate and manage EH&S systems, including the Safety Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS), and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Management System. Join our safety team to establish guidelines and drive continuous improvement. Assist in maintaining compliance documentation for safety and health regulations, including OSHA and other regulatory bodies. Track and record incidents, inspections, and corrective actions. Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions, maintaining accurate attendance records. Support the planning and execution of safety drills, wellness programs, and administrative events. Manage and detail our campus-wide Risk Notification and Behavioral Based Safety Program. YOU HAVE: A high school diploma or equivalent experience 2+ years working within a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in leading a team or Safety Committee preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
