THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in an EH&S role or office manage role with EH&S responsibilities, ideally within a biotech or other fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, can-do approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), video conferencing platforms, and productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Asana).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, the EH&S Manager (Part Time/Contractor) will oversee daily EH&S operations, foster a welcoming and productive environment for employees and visitors, and support general ergonomic needs across departments.
This role will work closely with and complement our existing HR organization, Facilities, as well as our Executive Assistants (one supporting CEO/G&A and one supporting Development), ensuring seamless support across the company.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Maintain office policies and procedures and recommend improvements
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires (e.g., setting up workstations, ordering equipment)
  • Perform other duties as required to support a growing and dynamic biotech environment
