Responsibilities

As part of our high-performing Bi-borough SEND service, you’ll manage a caseload of children and young people with special educational needs. You’ll be the main point of contact for families, schools and professionals, offering clear advice and support at every stage of the Education, Health and Care (EHC) process.
You’ll coordinate timely, multi-agency assessments and reviews, making sure that each child’s EHC plan is based on their strengths, needs and aspirations. You’ll also commission appropriate education placements, keep detailed records and ensure that statutory timescales are met.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, strong communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You’ll work flexibly across sub-teams depending on service needs and your own development goals.
