Description
➢ Develops and implements new training materials, schedule, solutions, etc. ➢ Works with multiple departments and management teams to coordinate training that supports an increased understanding of the function of the EHR/PM/EDR system and other platforms on a regular basis. ➢ Supports EHR Manager with the implementation of projects such as EHR upgrades, design of interfaces, template evaluations, new systems, etc. ➢ Performs system configuration and daily maintenance to other ancillary tools such as telehealth, lab and medication interfaces, specialized portals, patient portal, etc. ➢ Conducts audits to ensure that the EHR is being maximized and that the system is functioning appropriately. ➢ Participates in the implementation of upgrades, software patches, interfaces, workflow improvement projects, etc. ➢ Supports operations, nursing and clinical management with workflow design and improvement. ➢ Conducts regular audits on the EHR system usage to ensure appropriate usage of the system is occurring. ➢ Maintains documentation of audits performed, along with necessary follow-up and retraining. ➢ Responds to “helpdesk” tickets or calls in a timely manner and follows helpdesk protocols. ➢ Works with Data Analytics, quality team, nursing, operations, and medical providers to ensure that Patient Centered Medical Home, UDS, and other quality of care standards are being met with EHR system. ➢ Follow safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions, reports/removes unsafe equipment and attends safety education sessions.
Responsibilities
