GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Project Operations Manager will champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across the programme, ensuring all activities align with UPMC Ireland’s strategic goals, clinical priorities, and regulatory standards. They will maintain accurate project documentation to support operational readiness and knowledge transfer, uphold data privacy, cybersecurity, and patient safety standards, contribute to PMO best practices, and represent the EHR Programme in internal fora.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

The Project Operations Manager will play a central role in supporting the successful implementation of the Cúram Electronic Health Record (EHR) across UPMC Ireland. This role is embedded within the Programme Senior Management Team (SMT) and is responsible for driving project planning, execution, governance, and reporting across multiple workstreams within the Cúram implementation. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in healthcare IT project delivery, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a structured approach to project governance, risk management, and resource coordination.
