ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an EHS role in a construction environment
  • Working knowledge of current EHS legislation and good practice standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • EU passport and/or unrestricted visa-free working rights across Europe are essential

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an EHS Advisor, you will work on a 3&1 rotation, flying out to support the implementation of environmental, health, and safety practices on a major project based in Sweden. Working closely with the project team and CET’s EHS management, you will help maintain compliance with company systems and local regulations. This role is ideal for someone with solid on-site experience who is looking to build their career in EHS within a dynamic project environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the on-site EHS function and assist in ensuring compliance with CET’s EHS management systems
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permits to work
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure EHS requirements are met
  • Participate in site inductions and ensure all team members meet required training standards
  • Help maintain the project’s training matrix and ensure up-to-date documentation is in place
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, escalating any issues to senior EHS staff
  • Contribute to toolbox talks and EHS communications to promote a positive safety culture
  • Support incident reporting and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is available and used correctly by site personnel
  • Attend site meetings and provide input on day-to-day EHS matters
