Description The key role of the EHS Compliance Coordinator is to provide support to the EHS, Facilities and Controller to create a safe workplace that adheres to environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulations by developing and implementing safety programs, conducting inspections and audits, providing safety training to employees, investigating incidents, and maintaining records to create a safe and compliant environment for all. RESPONSIBILITIES Vehicle Accident Reporting Intake Reporting to and working with insurance carriers, including following up as necessary Evaluate repair estimates and work with Schluter Management to determine payment (self-payment or insurance claim) Vehicle violation tracking per policy including accidents and tickets and provide information to HR Monitor SAMBA Safety (where point tracking occurs) Monitor and report current vehicle safety program status and relevant KPIs Monitor and maintain Schluter employee vehicle training and policy compliance through Schluter University training and policy modules (company owned vehicles operated by employees) Maintain employee COI if driving private vehicle for company purposes Monitor and maintain any DOT requirements for Schluter owned box truck drivers Monitor and maintain Schluter online insurance program for vendors and contractors (Trustlayer) Work with Schluter insurance representative or internal Legal Department to resolve any issues or concerns with Trustlayer systems Liaison for external insurance audits Train and be the liaison with Schluter employees that require contract work from outside vendors/contractors Conduct daily meetings with contractors prior to work being performed to evaluate type of work and ensure all Schluter conditions are met OSHA compliance Proper PPE Hot work permit requirements HAZCOM Contribute to monitoring of employees and contractors’ personnel and their compliance with EHS requirements In liaison with Facilities and EHS staff, write and keep up-to-date procedures for safe, compliant work practices wising KPA MaintainX including daily work, PM, and general best work practices for all tasks The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive Requirements EHS career experience in a manufacturing or distribution center facility Experience in insurance risk management a plus CMMS software experience a plus Familiarity with working both in verbal and written communications with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies The ability to influence and manage change through positive interactions Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision COMPANY BENEFITS · Competitive Compensation · Generous Paid Time Off · 10 Paid Holidays · Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance · Biannual Bonus Program · 401k with Company Match · Company Paid Life Insurance · Annual Reviews and Merit Based Raises · Room for Advancement and Career Growth COMPANY DESCRIPTION Schluter Systems is a family-owned and internationally renowned company that has been rapidly growing over the last 10 years.
