Job Description AECOM is looking for a motivated environmental / health and safety professional to provide environmental and health and safety advice to our clients. Within the role of EHS Consultant you will be involved in a wide variety of projects for mainly international private sector clients based in BeNeLux and abroad. Duties and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: EHS Operational management by supporting our clients in drafting and implementing EHS procedures, developing and maintaining EHS legal registers, conducting risk assessments and supporting in the implementation of environmental and/or safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001,…) Support clients in obtaining environmental permits by preparing permit applications and liaise with local authorities and stakeholders during the permitting process Perform environmental and health and safety compliance and due diligence audits Implementing safety, quality and customer focus into your day-to-day activities Taking on all project management tasks for your projects and being responsible for all contact with your clients. Contributing to AECOMs growth in the field of environmental and health and safety services through business development activities, including preparing or coordinating proposals in your area of expertise. Qualifications You have a Master's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, Environmental Engineering or related field. Holding a diploma as an environmental coordinator (level A or B) or as a Prevention Advisor (Level 1 or 2) is considered a strong plus. You have 2-5 years of experience in EHS consulting, with focus on Belgian regulations You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, in both Dutch and English. French is a strong advantage.
