Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and business requirements on the shop floor
  • Engage operations teams to ensure effective implementation of key EHS programs and improve organizational culture
  • Work directly with Assembly and Bonding employees on quantifying risk and motivate them to be a part of the improvement process
  • Lead corrective action teams for all injuries and investigations in manufacturing setting
  • Train hourly employees on items relating to Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance requirements as well as Business Priorities such as Behavioral Based Safety and Hazard Recognition
  • Work both indoors and outdoors around a manufacturing facility with heavy equipment and overhead cranes.
  • Maintain and conduct periodic audits and inspections of safety equipment on site
