Description
Manage safety for construction projects Develop, maintain, and improve safety standards for electrical equipment and systems Conduct electrical safety risk assessments and drive corrective actions Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Act, Electrical Business Act) Perform on-site safety audits, inspections, and analyze incidents/near-misses to establish preventive measures Plan and deliver electrical safety education and training for employees Participate in safety evaluations and approval processes for new equipment installations Align with global EHS standards and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field Experience in electrical safety management (preferably in manufacturing, plant, or industrial settings) Knowledge of occupational safety and health laws and electrical regulations Practical experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective actions Strong communication and teamwork skills (Preferred) Licensed Electrical Chief Engineer, EHS-related certifications (e.g., ISO45001 Internal Auditor) Ability to communicate effectively in English
