Job Description Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to join our Data Centre team in France. This is an ideal role for a quality driven professional with excellent communications and client management skills, looking to work on large scale projects. In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things: Ensure awareness among project managers regarding the subject of Safety. Prepare, implement, and monitor construction the project EHS plan. Lead of safety meetings with Client & Trades. Supervise client's project EHS oversight resources. Assessment of contractor safety plans. Review and comment on High-Risk Activities. Champion safety initiatives and support the Clients safety campaigns. Apply lessons learnt and best practice. Lead of investigations and root cause analysis. Provide Safety support & guidance to project teams. Ensure the Clients safety requirements and local codes are met. Ensure synergy with the 'Safety Programme' led by Turner & Townsend. Qualifications This is a site-based project role. Suitable candidates are likely to have 10+ years’ experience in EHS lead Management positions. Demonstrable experience working on large scale, complex projects. Data Centre experience is a requirement. Practiced in project control mechanisms and with technical risk assessments. Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualise issues and communicate them to others. Outstanding organisation, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors. Experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and comfortable with being client facing. Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.
