Responsibilities: Ensure awareness among project managers with regard to the subject of Safety. This is a site based project role Prepare, implement, and monitor construction the project EHS plan Lead of safety meetings with Client & Trades Supervise client's project EHS oversight resources, including outsource EHS competent persons Assessment and approval of contractor safety plans Review and comment on High Risk Activities Champion safety initiatives and support the Clients safety campaigns Apply lessons learnt and best practice Lead of investigations and root cause Provide Safety support & guidance Ensure the Clients safety requirements and local codes are met Ensure synergy with the 'Safety Programme' led by Turner & Townsend Qualifications Suitable candidates are likely to have several years’ experience in EHS lead Management positions. Demonstrable experience in working on large scale, complex projects; Data Center experience is preferred but not a requirement Practiced in project control mechanisms and with technical risk assessments Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors Experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and comfortable with being client facing Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
