JOB SUMMARY

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and governmental regulations. This role provides leadership for EHS initiatives, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and systems.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, solve complex problems, and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email applications.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, large projects, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using trend analysis and metrics.
  • Evaluate and enhance data collection methods for EHS reporting.
  • Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient and compliant.
  • Implement EHS activities in support of ISO 14001 certification.
  • Chair the Safety Committee and ensure proactive hazard prevention.
  • Manage large-scale EHS projects from planning to completion.
  • Share best practices across Jabil facilities to promote standardization.
  • Stay current on environmental regulations and industry trends.
