Your mission with us

• They continuously control, develop and improve our EHS processes in the areas of environment, energy and occupational safety.
• They are responsible for the implementation, maintenance and further development of integrated management systems, in particular according to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• They coordinate our occupational health and safety system together with internal and external occupational safety specialists and safety officers.
• They analyze environmental and energy data from ERP and energy monitoring systems and derive effective improvement measures.
• They advise management and executives on all EHS-related issues.
• They plan and conduct internal audits and support external certifications.
• They further develop risk assessments and support training and instruction.
• They ensure compliance with legal requirements and actively collaborate with authorities, professional associations and external partners.
• They manage external companies with regard to all EHS requirements.
• They support projects, especially new buildings, plant expansions and process changes.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Completed technical studies, e.g. environmental, safety or engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the EHS environment, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Excellent knowledge of environmental, energy and occupational safety as well as the relevant legal requirements.
• Experience with management systems according to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ideally ISO 50001
• Experience in collaborating with authorities, professional associations, service providers and internal stakeholders
• Analytical and structured working methods as well as confident handling of key performance indicators and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, persuasiveness, and a confident demeanor
• Excellent German skills and good English skills
• Confident use of MS Office

Advantageous

• Additional qualifications, e.g. as waste management, emissions control or incident management officer
• Knowledge of energy management and the analysis of energy consumption
• Experience in the field of machine safety or fire protection
