Join our dynamic team as a Safety Officer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Safety Manager to uphold safety, health, environmental, and welfare excellence across our projects. Your expertise will ensure we meet statutory obligations and exceed safety benchmarks, making a real impact in the construction industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years working with a developer or main contractor (preferred).
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), with at least 5 years of active WSHO practice.
  • Proven experience developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan (e.g., bizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Ability to pass internal security checks mandated by the Singapore Government.
  • Valid Class 3 Driving License.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Safety Manager to oversee safety, health, and environmental initiatives, ensuring full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Implement and monitor robust safety measures, driving a culture of accountability and vigilance on-site.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, consultants, and main contractors, to align on safety goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, document observations, and ensure timely rectification of issues.
  • Identify training and certification needs to meet legislative requirements, Approved Codes of Practice, and HSE guidelines.
  • Gain deep insights into work-specific risks and control measures, proactively mitigating hazards.
  • Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive actions.
