Job Description Summary The EHS & Quality specialist is responsible for ensuring that site/manufacturing operations meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and EHS expectations, while also supporting continuous improvement, audits, supplier quality, customer inspections, and employee safety programs. Job Description What will you do: Develop and Maintain Quality Plan and Quality Control plan Implementation of the Quality Management System including Quality Assurance, Inspections, Calibrations, Procedures, Instructions and Quality Plans Work with the Supplier Quality Engineer/Sourcing team to resolve and improve vendor-related quality issues Issue Non-Conformity and Corrective Actions follow-up on closure Lead on pre-inspection meeting for each project & take care customer during they visit factory for witness inspection. Oversee internal processes such as NCR, Internal Audit, and others to ensure data accuracy, and process effectiveness including resulting corrective actions and performance metrics Develop site programs to promote employee engagement and foster a strong EHS culture. Ensure compliance with GE Vernova EHS policies, and standards. Support Cluster Leader at GEV EHS framework implementation. Maintain legal compliance and oversee implementation of EHS regulations in the workplace. Influence the development of site strategies and policies related to EHS and facilities management. Support and/or lead assigned sites with audits, accident investigations, and EHS-related concerns. Ensuring waste management principles are implemented in accordance with applicable regulations. Supervising employee HSE training, conducting initial general HSE training. What will you bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Electrical, Electronics Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control/EHS. Knowledge of Quality and EHS management systems. Knowledge and experience in Problem solving methodologies. Good communication & presentation skills. Fluency in English, Arabic, French. Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as: MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Power point and Microsoft Outlook. Willingness to travel up to 50% across North Africa. What will make you stand out: Ability to create positive change in a team environment.
