Description This position is responsible for leading the Safety Steering Team to provide a safe working environment for all Employees. The position works with cross-functional teams throughout the facility driving continuous improvement of our safety culture. Major responsibilities include: Maintain programs and procedures for regulatory governed programs including LOTO, MSDS, Confined Spaces, and Lead Management Assist with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation Management of safety training; including development of training materials, leading training sessions, and maintain training records Auditing and writing procedures documenting safety best practices Performing safety audits and facility walkthroughs regarding H&S Manage reporting and record keeping for safety compliance and leadership engagement Requirements The candidate we seek should have a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or other Environmental, Health & Safety related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of EHS experience within a manufacturing setting.
