More than five years of growing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs. Hold Health and Safety professional certification such as  NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent. Experience implementing health and safety management systems and process improvement. Proven track record of managing EHS functions in a matrix environment. Strong in‑depth understanding of relevant EHS legislation and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders. Spoken and written fluency in English. Availability to travel regularly in their region and, to other locations in EMEA as required.   Roles and Responsibilities   Provide EHS guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable project EHS Policies and legal requirement Ensure the delivery of EHS performance in line with personal, functional goals and objectives, facilitating and/or arranging training programs on critical EHS issues. Analyze EHS metrics weekly and monthly to discover trends and rationalize the allocation of resources to areas where the EHS risk is highest. Develop and implement EHS programs to constantly improve EHS culture. Conduct regular site visits to identify hazards, non-compliance and to improve controls. Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to the risks and prevent injury. Support the EHS Manager to deliver EHS strategic improvements. Carry out EHS risk assessment activities. Deliver EHS related training. Cooperate with local environmental authorities and H&S agencies. Investigate EHS related incidents, and support in the risk assessment activities, complete internal and external incident reports. Establish internal assessment/audit processes aligned to strategic objectives. Preparing responses to insurers/lawyers in response to personal injury claims received. Ensure that site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable on their EHS responsibilities. Arrange, facilitate, and contribute to worker consultation and participation, e.g., EHS committee meetings. Contribute to reduce environmental impacts and maintain a sustainable approach for office activities. Assist the EHS Manager in preparing the EHS budget.
