Company Description manufacturing company Job Description Local client seeks an EHS coordinator with some experience working in a manufacturing setting. You will be a key professional in the EHS function with a focus on environmental. Your work will include workplace environmental issues, such as wastewater management, air quality, pollution prevention, and environmental permitting. You will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local municipality requirements. You will provide knowledge and insight into environmental topics and oversee environmental improvement initiatives. Assist in establishing and maintaining environmental programs Prepare site compliance reporting, reviews, and audits. Provide onsite environmental training to employees. Prepare safety reports Qualifications REQUIREMENTS BS degree in Environmental Sciences, EHS (Environmental, Safety, and Health Engineering), or similar is required. One or two years of paid, industrial experience is a must. Familiarity with local, State, and Federal compliance regulations is required. This position supports three or four manufacturing locations. Must be open to some travel.
