Job Description At our Elst factory, one of Kraft Heinz’s key production sites, we are looking for an EHS Specialist to strengthen our safety culture, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with Operations and join a team of two EHS Specialists and a Health & Safety Manager. What you will do 🎯 Embed Safety values and Safety Leadership Principles across all levels of the site Support site risk management processes to ensure compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz standards Contribute to annual improvement plans for Safety, Environment, BCM, Facility Security, and Sustainability Drive continuous improvement in risk management performance together with stakeholders Strengthen a proactive safety culture by coaching and supporting (middle) management competence Support internal and external engagement (regulators and insurance partners) with the H&S Manager Ensure employees, supervisors, and site leadership are competent for H&S critical activities Ensure accurate reporting of EHS KPIs and scorecards in the relevant systems Support Asset Conservation and Business Continuity planning to reduce business interruption risk Participate in the site security team and act as Head of the Emergency Response Team (incl. First Aiders) What you bring ✅ 2–3 years hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing environment NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (HVK or MVK) Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Safety, Process Safety, Environment) Understanding of corporate risk management systems Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel); SAP is a plus Fluent in Dutch and English Completed or willing to complete relevant trainings (Safety & Quality, behavior/house rules, KHMS) Interested? 📩 Apply via the Kraft Heinz application process or contact the Elst site recruitment/contact person to learn more.
