Key focus on managing the Brampton Mother plant along with CSC locations across Canada as necessary, safety programs to maximize employee / facility safety performance. Assumes responsibility for safety of employees, compliance with applicable regulations, accident investigation/review,

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety, or associated area such as science or engineering, or reasonable equivalent experience

    • Experience in safety or engineering role
    • 5 to 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical processing
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills – with the ability to effectively address multiple client service requests and communicate to diverse audiences
    • Clear understanding of OSHA regulations and HSE programs (including but not limited to emergency response, hazard recognition and control, HazCom, hot work, ergonomics, LOTO, confined space, etc.)
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal ability to work cross-departmentally, with regulatory agencies at the local, state, and federal. Must interact with the public and other external parties constructively on HSE issues
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, often mandated externally
    • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
