Description Position Summary An EHS systems analyst supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety, (EHS) systems, tools, and applications. Responsible for conducting audits, investigating incidents, assisting in the preparation of policies and procedures, and recommending improvements. Promotes safety and environmental stewardship throughout the company. Responsibilities • Promotes safety and environmental policies by conducting and participating in monthly EHS training at field locations, and as needed at job-specific locations. • Assists the EHS department in performing internal and regulatory agency audits and inspections. • Implements and maintains EHS systems, tools, and applications. • Audit and review EHS databases. • Conducts risk assessments and safety audits. • Participates in incident investigations, analyzes root causes, implements corrective actions. • Follow SOPs to ensure compliance with regulations. • Research and review site information. • Maintain EHS training plans and records, including development of training content, training programs and ability to deliver. • Assist in the development of EHS information packs. • Assists EHS department with risk management, incident investigations, and reporting. • Assists EHS department with preparation and modification of policies, procedures and safe work practices. • Works closely with Operations personnel and promotes a good working relationship. • Supports Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) goals and sustainability reporting. • Ability to work flexible hours during times of increased work activity. • Maintains employee confidence and protect company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential. • Acquires and maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Requirements Qualifications • Five (5+) years minimum environmental and safety systems, oil and gas experience preferred. • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a relevant subject is preferred. • Ten (10+) years minimum experience in systems administration and management. • Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public. • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner. • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills. • Proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
