Description The EHS&S Training Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, and tracking of environmental, health, safety, and sustainability training programs across the organization. This role helps ensure that employees receive required safety training and that records are maintained in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Working under the guidance of the Senior Manager, EHS&S – Training and Development, this position collaborates with operational leaders and EHS&S team members to support a culture of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Training Coordination Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions for drivers, managers, and other personnel. Support onboarding activities by coordinating safety orientation for new hires. Track attendance and training completion; follow up on overdue or incomplete training. Administrative Support Assist with uploading and assigning training in learning management systems (e.g., Paylocity). Maintain organized training records and documentation to support audits and compliance. Help ensure that certifications (e.g., forklift trainers, Lytx coaches) are renewed on time. Materials & Communication Distribute training materials such as job aids, handouts, and e-learning instructions. Provide logistical support for in-person and virtual training (e.g., room setup, tech checks). Communicate training schedules, deadlines, and reminders to employees and supervisors. Reporting & Data Entry Run standard training reports and help identify gaps or expired certifications. Support the preparation of data for internal reporting and compliance tracking. Help compile metrics and dashboards to measure training participation and effectiveness. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in safety, training, or a related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or training support role. Basic understanding of safety practices or willingness to learn EHS&S concepts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with learning management systems is a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured environment.
