We at Work Lyf Group are recruiting for an E&I Installation Supervisor for our well-established client based in Warrington.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Site Manager to help to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Liaise with the Electrical Project Engineer to produce Electrical Installation Specifications.
- Day to day management of site sub-contract labour, reviewing RAMS and coordinating site work permits including LOTO.
- Review technical drawings and distribute information to electrical installation supervisors.
- Manage the storage and safe distribution of:
· Installation Materials
· Instrumentation
- Liaise with CAD engineer to document proposed routing of cable containment for client approval.
- Liaise with the Electrical Project Engineer to produce installation planning documents, then monitor and record installation progress against them.
- Identify and correctly install instrumentation from design package, advising the mechanical installation team of best installation practises. For, but not limited to:
· Magnetic flowmeters
· Coriolis flowmeters
· Pressure transmitters
· Temperature transmitters
Preferred Experience
- Good understanding of UK legislation, including BS7671
- Experience with instrumentation applications including but not limited to: flow, level, pressure, temperature, weight and analytical systems.
- Experience managing sub-contract labour for large projects.
- A good understanding of electrical and P&I drawings.
- A good understanding of the beverage industries including all relevant regulations and certifications.
- Experience with hazardous area applications, zoning, calculations but especially installation of wiring systems.
- A good understanding of control bus systems, AS-I, Profibus and industrial Ethernet networks.
Essential Experience
· 7 Years+ experience in the hygienic process installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
· Ability to attend client meetings and record minutes of the meeting
· Installation of Process Instrumentation
· Generation of project documentation (Installation Schedule & I/O Commissioning Documents)
· AutoCAD & Microsoft Office literate
· Control Panel Testing
· Hazardous Area Installation (Zone 22)
· Technical and professional knowledge
· Ability to work alone and as a team
· Must be proactive and resourceful
· Teamwork and Co-operational skills
· Planning and Organisational skills
· Good Communication skills
Qualifications
HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with relevant industry experience.
Location
Mainly UK, with occasional travel abroad
Monday to Friday (With occasional overnight stays)
