Description Job purpose The role of the EIA Technician I is to manufacture high quality EIA products for IMMY customers. This technician will succeed in this role by gaining knowledge of and understanding the history, processes, and goals of this product line. This person must have high attention to detail, a great eye for quality, and be comfortable performing repetitive processes. Under moderate supervision, they will perform various tasks such as antigen and antibody quantification, HRP conjugation, optimal dilutions, packaging, and labeling as well as kitting Finished Goods, while keeping accurate and complete records using our ERP system. The EIA Technician I may assist in various process and equipment validations and is encouraged to generate ideas to improve processes or product quality. Key duties and responsibilities Operates production equipment related, but not limited to, solution manufacture, packaging, and labeling for the EIA Product Line Manufacture of buffers, reagents, and EIA test plates Conduct testing on various EIA products daily Packaging, labeling, and kitting of all EIA WIP and Finished Goods Minor equipment and process troubleshooting Collaborates with direct supervisor and peers to interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on manipulations Collaborates with direct supervisor and peers to achieve product quality and maintain a strict manufacturing schedule using the Production Analysis report Update and trend all data to ensure there have been no shifts in the manufacturing of products Frequent use of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and ERP software May assist with validations for equipment and processes at the discretion of the manager Generating ideas to improve processes and product quality Perform supportive tasks to other teammates or teams when needed Apply good practices when recording data and completing records Must comply with all company policies, procedures, internal and external quality standards, and relevant regulatory standards Any other duties as assigned Qualifications Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field or work experience 0-1 years related experience Ability to perform minor troubleshooting Good teamwork, professional behavior, and effective communication skills Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high attention to detail Desired qualifications: Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in an ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and/or FDA regulated environment Experience working in a laboratory and use of general lab equipment Equal Opportunity Employment: IMMY is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and local laws.
