As a EKG Technician Lead performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation. Provides shift leadership and support to staff. Will participate in hiring and selection of new hires, staff training and education, and quality and compliance initiatives. Qualifications In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: EDUCATION High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required) Successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE Two years of previous related patient care experience Good verbal and written skills Basic clerical, computer data entry and math skills LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Certified Cardiographer Technician (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) (required) Certified CardiographicTechnician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) to be completed within 6 months of hire.
