MINIMUM 1+ YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A contract teaching opportunity is available for a certified ESL/ELL educator with expertise in General Education English Language Arts (ELA). This position supports two studentsone in middle school and one in high schoolin a K-12 school setting located in Levittown, PA. The assignment is scheduled for the upcoming school year and requires approximately 25 hours per week of dedicated instructional time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored English Language Arts and ESL instruction to individual students at middle and high school levels.
• Implement curriculum aligned to state standards while addressing the unique language learning needs of ELL students.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to promote language acquisition and academic success.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student learning and engagement.
• Maintain thorough documentation of instructional plans, student progress, and communications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid ELL/ESL teaching certification is required.
• Proven experience teaching General Education ELA and ESL to K-12 students.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition strategies and differentiated instruction.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
