The Foundations, Digital Experience and Research team fulfills a cross-sector role for the entire Desjardins Group. Offering infrastructure capabilities, the team is positioned as a true centre of expertise for all projects that serve Desjardins members and clients. As an ElasticSearch Programmer Analyst on the Research squad, you’ll be developing a search engine platform based on ElasticSearch technology. You’ll also analyze needs with your team to clarify our business partners’ requirements and propose tailored solutions. Finally, you have the ability to identify and apply software development best practices (clean architecture, clean code, design patterns, etc.). More specifically, you will be required to :

• Actively help develop execution strategies and analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices.
• Document technical solutions and practices to ensure product sustainability. Develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumers.
• Provide technical support for IT operations. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve critical and complex system issues.
• Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly.
• Lead application installation, testing and deployment.
