WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead daily operations of the Elder’s Program, ensuring culturally safe, inclusive, and equitable services across North Shore, Squamish Valley, and Away-from-Home Elders.
• Supervise and support the Elder’s Program Administrative Officer, Team Leads, and staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration across sites.
• Collaborate with the Director of Member Services and the Manager and Director of Squamish Valley Operations to implement the Elder’s Program Annual Workplan and support the Elder’s Program Plan.
• Manage and monitor Elder’s Program budgets, ensuring equitable allocation and responsible use of resources.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and adherence to the Elder’s Program Snew̓íyelh (Respectful Relationships Code).
• Advocate for Elder needs internally and with external partners, ensuring trauma-informed and culturally safe care.
• Build strong relationships with Elders by attending luncheons, activities, and events, ensuring the program reflects community needs and priorities.
• Support fundraising, grant development, and reporting to sustain and expand Elder’s Program services.
• Guide policy development, evaluation, and continuous program improvement.
