THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of the Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) team, the eLearning Developer will work closely with the Learning Designer and Learning Specialist – HRIS to design and deliver high-quality eLearning content that supports Ramsay Health Care’s Workday implementation. This role is responsible for the technical development of engaging, interactive eLearning modules, simulations, and multimedia designed to enhance workforce adoption of the Workday platform. The eLearning Developer will focus on content execution, ensuring alignment with established design standards and project requirements. Please note that this role is a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver eLearning content to support the Workday implementation, working closely with the Learning Designer to create interactive modules, animations, and multimedia assets that facilitate adoption of the Workday platform, following detailed project briefs and design guidelines.
  • Design interactive simulations and visual elements to enhance learner engagement and reinforce key learning objectives related to Workday functionality and HRIS system use.
  • Review and test all eLearning materials to ensure they comply with Ramsay’s Learning Design Standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1), and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Designer and Learning Specialist to ensure eLearning solutions align with the agreed design approach and contribute to the broader digital transformation objectives.
  • Update and revise Workday-related learning materials based on feedback from the Learning Designer and Learning Specialist.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and revisions related to Workday learning materials, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Continuously improve and adapt by staying current with trends in eLearning development tools, design technologies, and interactive multimedia, particularly for system training such as HRIS implementations.
